Amazing Weekend in Southern Utah

A group of friends spent the last couple of days down at my friend's cabin in Southern Utah. It was probably one of the best weekends I have had so far this summer.  A group of people went down Thursday night, and then spent Friday in Zions National Park.  Another group (which included me) headed down Friday, due to work.  We ended up not getting there until 10:30 that night. The group already up there had not eaten, so we made dinner. Yes, we ate dinner at 11:00 at night. :) We then proceeded to stay up until 3:30 in the morning laughing our heads off and talking.  Probably one of the best nights I have had in a while. That is the latest I have stayed up in a VERY long time.  I was shocked I made it.

Saturday morning we got up, and had breakfast.  Can you say white chocolate chip pancakes? YUM! We just spent the day relaxing, and hanging out (which in my opinion, was the best way to spend it).  A group of us went four-wheeling and headed to the lake.  We decided to make boats and race them down the river.  I felt like I was little kid again. :) It was SO much fun!  We watched a movie, played pool, and just talked.  It really was a great day.

This place is beautiful!! I love being up in the mountains. There is a sense of peace that I am not able to feel anywhere else.  I find that I am able to feel the spirit a lot stronger up there, than when I'm down in the city. I definitely feel a sense of peace and the love of my Father in Heaven.  I was able to ponder and think about some things regarding where I am in life, and who I want to become.

Just a couple pictures: (I wasn't very diligent in taking pictures this trip)
The AMAZING view from the cabin!

I love my friends so much! They are such amazing examples to me. I definitely wish we could have stayed longer, but I am so grateful I was able to spend this time with them, and create so many memories. Thank you so much Toni for letting us spend time with you at your cabin!!
